June is rapidly approaching, and Summer is right around the corner! The school year is coming to a close and many people are planning their summer vacations. Daytona Beach Bandshell Concerts and Fireworks
June 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 & 29
Visit the “World’s Most Famous Bandshell” in Daytona Beach, Friday and Saturday nights this summer for their Summer Concert Series. The concerts are 7:15 – 9:30 p.m. with fireworks following at 9:45 p.m. and are free to attend. However, if you’d like a VIP seat, it will cost $10. There is parking at the Ocean Center Garage and surface lots. Chairs are available for rental and beverages are available for purchase from local vendors. The concerts for the month of June include tributes to Foreigner and Bad Company, Van Halen, Elton John, Motley Crue and Ozzy Osborne, Bon Jovi, Prince, Beatles, David Bowie, and Boston and Styx. Summer Brews & BBQ
Enjoy a summer social at the Root Family Museum Train Station at the Museum of Arts & Sciences on June 6, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. There will be samples from local breweries, BBQ, and live music. The event is for ages 21 and older. Admission is $15 for MOAS members and $20 for non-members. Tickets must be bought in advance. Movies on The Halifax

Daytona Truck Meet 2019

Visit the Daytona International Speedway infield on June 7 – 9 for the Daytona Truck Meet. It is the largest growing truck show in the world and there are thousands of modified trucks, a burn out pit, live entertainment, and vendors. There’s fun for the entire family. Saturday Laser Rock Concert
June 8 & 22
The Museum of Arts and Sciences (MOAS) in Daytona Beach hosts a Laser Rock Concert in their Planetarium 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. Laser shows begin promptly on the hour. Tickets can be purchased the week of the show at the Guest Relations Desk of the MOAS or at the door the night of the event. Seating is limited. Snacks, beer and soft drinks are available for purchase. There are three shows each night. The price of one show is $5.00, two shows $7.00 and all three shows $9.00. On June 8, the shows will be Electrolaze, Laser Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd – The Dark Side of the Moon. On June 22, the shows will be Laser X, Laser Vinyl, and Laser Metallica. 31st Annual Seaside Fiesta
The 31st Annual Seaside Fiesta is being held on Flagler Ave in New Smyrna Beach, June 20, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. It’s a community block party that features live bands, food vendors, craft stands, art stands, surfing displays, a kids zone and tween zone. Riverfest on the Halifax
The Riverfest on the Halifax is a three-day event that takes place at Riverwalk Park in Port Orange. It kicks off with a Land n’ Sea Feast Friday evening. There will be events Saturday and Sunday that include an arts and crafts bazaar, a cornhole contest, Corporate Challenge, 5K Walk/Run, and more. New Smyrna Beach Wine Walk
Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the New Smyrna Beach Wine Walk. Stroll down beautiful Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach while tasting delicious wines from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29th. This progressive event allows you to explore new locations and wines at a variety of host locations.
