Daytona Beach Events In March

March is rumbling in and its going to be a busy month in the Daytona Beach area.  There’s something for everyone!  The weather is beautiful for outdoor activities, bikers are arriving for the famous Bike Week, families and friends are enjoying fun activities together, and people are jumping into Festival mode with all that Spring has to offer!

Movies on The Halifax

March 1

Visit the Rockefeller Gardens in Ormond Beach the first Friday of the month as they show a movie under the stars.  The movie for the month of March is Christopher Robin.  It will begin at 6:30 p.m. For more information visit

Downtown Music Festival

March 2

Visit the Canal Street Historic District of New Smyrna Beach on Saturday, March 2nd for an all-day Music Festival.  The fun begins at 9 a.m.  Live music performances can be enjoyed at multiple venues along Canal Street.  This event is FREE, open to the public, and is being held in conjunction with the Art Stroll and Craft Beer Walk.  For more information visit

Mardi Gras Ball

Enjoy an evening of fun, dinner, silent auction and celebration. The Mardi Gras Ball is a fundraiser hosted by the Tomoka MOPS benefitting Provision Packs.  This is the 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Ball and the event begins at 6:30 p.m. and takes place at The Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores.  Tickets are available now.  Visit for more information.

Taste of Ormond

The 6th Annual Taste of Ormond is happening on Sunday, March 3rd, 4 – 7 p.m.  Don’t miss your opportunity to sample from two dozen of Ormond Beach’s best restaurants, experience craft beer and wine, listen to great music, and spend an incredible afternoon with family and friends.  Tickets are $65 per person and include unlimited food, wine and beer samples, and much more.  VIP tickets cost $80 and are available for early admission. 13th Annual New Smyrna Beach Mardi Gras Parade

Celebrate Fat Tuesday with a parade in New Smyrna Beach.  The parade begins at 7 p.m.  There will be lots of Mardi Gras themed music and food specials at 10 venues along Flagler Avenue.  There is no fee to participate in the parade but there is an application.  To find out more information about this annual event including the parade route and to sign up to be in the parade, visit

Bike Week

March 8 - 17

Bike Week is one of the largest events of the year in Daytona Beach.  This year embarks on the 78th Anniversary of Bike Week in Daytona Beach and the official dates are March 8-17.  Don’t miss the huge assortment of rides, races, vendors, food and drink, live music, swap meets, contests, parties and more!  Make sure to check out the official bike week website and Bike Week Travel Tips available at and Bike Week Travel Guide.

Palm Coast Seafood Festival

March 16 & 17

The 3rd Annual Palm Coast Seafood Festival is taking place on Saturday, March 16th and Sunday, March 17th.  In 2018 this festival won the Daytona News Journal Reader’s Choice award for the Best Festival in Flagler County.  Find out what all the talk is about!  There will be delicious seafood available as well as chicken bar-b-que, and sweet treats.  While enjoying these delectable dishes enjoy the entertainment: great live music, Arts & Crafts Vendors, and a huge Kids Fun Zone!  On Saturday at 2 pm there will be a Flagler Sheriff Parade.  Admission is $5 per person and 12 & under are FREE.  Parking is FREE.  For more information visit

Daytona Turkey Run

An event for the whole family to enjoy!  The 30th Annual Spring Daytona Turkey Run is held in the infield of the Daytona International Speedway, Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.  Admission is $10 per day on Friday and Saturday and $5 on Sunday.  Children under the age of 11 are FREE.  See thousands of classic and custom cars, some for show and some for sale! Enjoy browsing through the arts and crafts, listening to the musical entertainment, watching the classic car parade, delicious food and drink, a huge swap meet and so much more! Florida Wildflower & Garden Festival

Visit Downtown DeLand on Saturday, March 23rd, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., for Mainstreet DeLand’s 13th Annual Florida Wildflower & Garden Festival.  There will be demonstrations and presentations inspiring all gardening enthusiasts! Vendors will offer gardening and nature related items.  There will be children’s activities all day, so bring the whole family! Jerry’s Tiki Bar 8th Annual Spring Break Reggae Festival

Don’t miss the 2019 Reggae Festival at Jerry’s Tiki Bar in Ponce Inlet! Scheduled from 12 p.m. – 11 p.m., this event is sure to be a hit with the whole family! 2019 Spring Fair & Food Festival

Port Orange Family Days Community Trust is hosting the 3rd Annual Spring Fair & Food Festival on March 28 – 31.  The festival runs 5 – 10 p.m. on Thursday, 5 – 11 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Sunday.  Come out to City Center in Port Orange and enjoy delicious food from local restauranteurs, a 4-day carnival, a Community Expo, craft booths, and lots of entertainment at the Kenneth Parker Amphitheatre.  Admission is FREE but tickets/wristbands are required for the carnival rides.  Pre-Sale Carnival Mega Passes are on sale now.  For more information visit
