Fiesta de Mayo People’s Choice Margarita Challenge

Art in the Park

Art in the Park is an Annual Arts & Crafts Festival in Ormond Beach. This year is the 47th year. The festival takes place on May 4th & 5th and is hosted by the City of Ormond Beach Department of Leisure Services and the Ormond Memorial Art Museum. There will be art work and crafts displayed from many throughout the region. The festival takes place along the banks of the Halifax River in Rockefeller Gardens. Ormond Beach Beer Festival
The inaugural Ormond Beach Beer Festival is taking place on May 11th, 2:00 – 8:00 p.m., at the Rockefeller Gardens. There is no charge for general admission. To experience the unlimited beer tasting from over 30 different breweries an event ticket must be purchased. They are $30 in advance or $35 the day of the event. You’ll also be able to enjoy live music, wine, and local food vendors with delicious options available for purchase. There is also a kid’s game area so bring the whole family. The Daytona International Speedway is celebrating NASCAR Day 2019 on Friday, May 17th, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. The event takes place at the Ticket and Tours Building and is open to the public. There will be lunch combos available for $5 and raffles for great prizes. Raffle tickets are $1 per ticket. All proceeds raised will go to The NASCAR Foundation. Best of Volusia/Flagler All Star Preps
The Daytona Beach News-Journal will be recognizing the top high school athletes in Volusia and Flagler counties. This event takes place at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach on Monday, May 20, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The evening’s featured guest will be Gabby Douglas, a three-time Olympic Gold Medalist and two-time World Champion Gymnast. General admission tickets may be purchased for this event for $50, which includes dinner, awards ceremony, and presentation by the special guest. All athletes being honored will receive a special invitation and instructions on how to claim their free ticket for the banquet.
