Daytona Beach Condo Sales Bounced Back In June
Condo sales bounced back across the greater Daytona Beach in June.
An analysis of Daytona Beach Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data by Wyse Home Team Realty showed there were 169 condo units sold around the Daytona Beach area in June with a median sales price of $225,000. That’s 9 sales more than the area’s condo sales in June 2019 and more than double the number of condo sales in May. Overall sales volume in June was 15 percent higher than last year’s sales volume and double the condo sales volume in May.
The median condo sales price in June was also up substantially, according to MLS reports. At $275,000, the median condo sales price was nearly 29 percent higher than the same month last year and 12.5 percent higher than in May.
Year to date, condo sales are down 10 percent from the first half of 2019 and the median sales price is up by 6 percent.
“This is the bounce back in the market that we’ve been waiting for,” said Ron Wysocarski, Broker and CEO of Wyse Home Team Realty in Port Orange.
